April Kick-off.

It’s officially summer! As time of writing, I’m dying because of the scorching heat, pretty much dying to take a dip in a pool, even a kiddie pool would do – that’s how desperate I am, and really envious of my brother who’s in Splash Island. I’m even tempted to go to the parlor and have my locks cut because I seriously can’t stand that ‘sticky’ feeling. I wish I was at the beach..

April started right because I had lunch with some of my favorite people in the world, Ateneo would definitely be incomplete without these girls! I terribly miss college. Had lunch with my girls yesterday at CPK, Shang. I just wish time would stretch a bit when I’m with them, it’s always too short. Oh, and nothing beats shopping with them! Reese, Jacque, Lance, Noelle, hope to see you girls soon.



Speaking of shopping, it’s really true, that when you start earning your own money, it’s so damn hard to spend it! It’s hard earned that’s why it’s so hard to spend also. You think about the days you work, like if is this thing worth your 3 days’ salary.. and when you do end up spending your hard-earned money, you feel guilty about it. My parents used to tell me that before, that when I start earning money, I’d understand what they mean, well now, I do. Wait, ‘nuff about this, it’s gonna pop my summer bubble.

And by the way, starting on Monday, I’ll be working in Makati! Yeah baby. Compared to Ortigas, its nearer, so there’s less traffic and less travel time. I have grown to love Ortigas, but nothing compares to Makati. I’m more comfortable in Makati, I know how to go around already, and our new office is near Greenbelt. Yey!

Might as well enjoy what April has in store for me, despite of the heat.. I get the feeling that April’s a really really good month for me.
