On Getting Fit.

If you know me well, you'd know that I've never been into any sport, and I've never been really physically active. I've never been really self conscious of my body, well except I guess for wanting really nice kick ass flat abs! Who doesn't want one? :D My tummy isn't exactly flat nowadays, but who cares, I can still channel 'sexy' when donning a bikini in the beach. I don't consider myself skinny or fat, I think I just have the right body sans the abs that is. I gained around 5ish lbs(jumping from the 5-6-8 lbs, going back to 5-6-8) after grad, which I think is relatively small and it's not like it's a life changing thing that my world would crumble having to gain few lbs. I know that metabolism slows down as you get older, and I have a desk job so I rarely move around, so these kinds of things are given. Plus for most of the time, I consider some of the weight gained as water weight gained ;) Who am I fooling haha.

Anyway to start my fitness regimen, I know I'm not getting older, I enrolled in a gym with Ian! He needs to rehabilitate his knee and well, for most part, we have to start getting fit and healthy :) After going for steak spree's for a while and doing a lot of food trips, we need to do something healthy as a couple, which actually is great because we have this other 'thing' to do together. We started going for 2 weeks already, and exercising actually feels great! Plus free coffee in the gym :p Hehe

I also found out, I'm actually exceeding the fat percentage for my body, for my height and my age, I should be in the 17-24% body fat, and right now I'm in the 26.9%! The challenge is to bring down the fat to 20%, I'm not really going for skinny, but I just want to be a healthier me. I would totally be happy if I just have 24% or even 23%, and just maintain that because I don't want to give up the good stuff, like desserts and steaks :) I'll post another entry once I achieved the right fat percentage :D

Let's get physical physical I wanna get physical..
