2008!

It's 2008 already, a year has passed and there are 16 days to go before I mark another jump of one digit in my age. And although I don't do the 'new-year's-resolution-thing', I vow to write more often in my blog. I still want to document my life and my thoughts! :) I don't particularly feel that I'm living a very interesting life, but nonetheless I still want to write. I need to hone my writing skills. I dunno how many entries I've written in 2007, but I'm pretty sure it's the year when I had the least entries. I even skipped some months without writing anything. Plus it's probably the year that I read the least number of books! I guess I've been engrossed too much in my TV series. It's my new 'fix', Gossip Girls, Heroes, Prison Break, etc. Hahaha. I don't know how to summarize the year that has been, it's been eventful, and it's been fun. My memory is pretty much selective and it chooses to retain happy memories, so I can't really think of any major mishap or anything unfortunate that happened in 2007. Maybe there were bumps in the road but learning from it can always turn it into a positive experience, right? So there :) Thank you to everyone who's been part of 2007.

Let's see what's going to happen this year :D I hope I'd have more bright ideas to write about or interesting stories to post :P

Oh, I wonder, could there be random people reading my blog same way I read random links? Anyway, I know it's already Jan 4, but here goes my shout out, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First entry for 06.

It's 2006 already! Well, 8 days have passed since the clock struck 12 :) And for the past month,I've only written 2 entries, so I guess I was THAT busy. When I was in school, I've always imaginedthat the ideal timeline for school is one year straight that you go to school, and one year straight break from school. Now that I'm already working, the ideal weekend would be 3 days and you work 4 days. One day of the weekendwith family, the other one with friends, the last one would be time for yourself. To read, relax, go to the spa, parlor, or whatever, or even just sleep, something like a time to be alone.. Or time to write more entries. Haha, that's my whole point,if I have another day in my weekend, I can write a lot of entries, well at least 4 a month :p

Moving on, I really had a good Christmas break, it was well spent, I think every second of it. Because I was on leavefor the whole week, I went to work only for a day. Technically leave for 2 days, because there were only 3 working daysthat week. :p But it's like having Christmas break from work :) It was fun. I watched 2 of the best fireworks, one was the Pyro Olympics. One word to describe it "WHOAH". And the other one was in EK, i forgot what they called it, butwhile in Pyro I got to watch it from afar because it was really grand and big and all so there was distance from the actualfireworks, the one in EK is literally above me. My cousin Kat even got hit by remnants of the fireworks in the sky, and it wasso funny! Because I thought I was just imagining that it was really above us.

I am so looking foreward this 06 for a lot of things :) And I don't really believe in resolutions so I guess there won'tbe an entry for that :p Haha. And the next big thing for January(well for me :p) is my birthday! I'm turning 22 this 20th, I'm getting old :)Definitely looking forward to what this year will bring.
*Toast to my coming birthday, and to 2006*
